Another soccer weekend has come and gone. Natalie's team stayed over night in Owensboro, KY. Won 2 lost 1. They looked great. Monica scored two goals. She has to make-up for lost time out of soccer so she is determined to do well.

We closed on the house Friday. Mike stayed there last night. He is working on the garage since it is empty. He will paint the walls and Epoxy the floor. I hope to go clean on Wed. We have about 4 more weeks of school left then we can move. The truck will deliver our stuff on Friday May 23. I met a neighbor. She seems really nice and she has a 6yr old boy. Drew is ready to have a friend.

Back to my chores.

Weekly Wrap Up

We had a good week. Mike is doing the busy work on the new house. We close in 6 days.
I am getting the movers set up and trying to get rid of stuff that we really don't need. Natalie had Strep the beginning of the week. She was not very sick. Low temp, but most of the symptoms. I took her in anyway. We had a $5 bet and she won. I guess when they get 12 they know there body better than mom. Makes me sad and happy at the same time.
Monica scored her second goal today. She is having a blast.

We are going to wait to move because of all of the end of school programs, field days, and several more soccer weekends. They have worked really hard all year and deserve the enjoyment of these last few weeks with their friends. It will also give us a chance do some painting in the other house. I have found a pre-school program for Drew for the fall, a couple of miles from our house, just two days a week. I think it will be plenty. Since he is my last I am going to hold on to him as long as I can. I don't think he will mind. We have fun.

Since Mike has moved back to TN he is cooking on Sat. again. So. I smell some good food and will check in later.

Ready to move

Sorry of all the Emails about this site. Every time I hit send they didn't go. I woke up this morning and there they were. Oh well, as long as you get here.

We finally bought a house. We close in two weeks. Mike will go ahead and move in and we will move when school is out. We are so excited. I still won't believe it until I spend my first night there. We have known we were going to move know for a year and eight months. We have someone coming Sunday for a second look at our house. He just has to buy it. Maybe I will make them cookies.

Keeping Busy

Well I am still not used to this. I am trying to remember that you are my loved ones and it is okay to share our life with you. It is all pretty weird writing though. Thank God I just found the spell check, now I hope I remember to use it.

Mike has been gone most of the week. We have found a house and have been negotiating since Monday. We hope it will be done tomorrow. We have some serious lookers coming back to look at our house on Saturday so... think positive, this just has to happen. We are going on 9 months soon. I guess one of our houses took 10 months. We do want to break that record.

Drew's birthday was on Easter this year. We went to my Dad and Beverly's. The kids had a blast and Drew celebrated his birthday with an Egg Hunt, Horse and buggy ride, fishing, presents and cake. So this past weekend we were happy to be able to celebrate with Mike's family. His Mom, Sister, and Micah came to see Monica get her 1st goal at her first soccer game of the season, then we celebrated Drew's birthday.

I will work on getting some more photos on here. I have a lot to learn.
